RNC launches Specter ‘Welcome Memo Generator’ for Dems

If they weren’t already (and they were), the knives are really coming out for Sen. Arlen Specter (D!-Pa.) among Republicans. The latest sign comes from the Republican National Committee. The committee has launched a website that generates “welcome memos” to Specter.

The user picks who the memo is from – the White House Teleprompter, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), or the user. Once the user picks who it is from, a message pops up below.

For example, the White House teleprompter (which, evidently, now has the capacity to compose memos) writes the the following to Specter:

This is change that makes sense. Welcome to the Democrats. I look forward to working together to borrow more money from China and the Middle East. Worry not, the next generation won’t even miss college.
