Trevor Noah labels Roy Moore ‘Caucasian R. Kelly’
Comedy Central host Trevor Noah late Wednesday jabbed Roy Moore over sexual misconduct allegations against the Republican Alabama Senate candidate, calling him “Caucasian R. Kelly.”
The comparison of Moore to the R&B singer came as “The Daily Show” host addressed the mounting calls from Democratic lawmakers for Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) to resign in the face of sexual misconduct allegations.
“It looks like Al Franken’s political career could be over,” Noah said. “Unless he moves to Alabama to run as a Republican. Yeah, because down there, Caucasian R. Kelly’s having a great time.”

Franken is set to make a speech on the Senate floor on Thursday, and speculation has swirled as to whether he will resign from the chamber.
Numerous women have come forward in recent weeks to accuse Moore, a former Alabama Supreme Court justice, of pursuing sexual and romantic relations with them when they were teenagers and he was in his 30s.
One of his accusers, Leigh Corfman, has said that she was 14 years old at the time of a sexual encounter with Moore.
Kelly faced charges a decade ago for allegedly making a sex tape with an underage girl. He was acquitted on all counts in that case in 2008.
