Comey poses with ‘Anchorman’ Ron Burgundy
Former FBI Director James Comey posed with a cut out of “Anchorman” character Ron Burgundy in a photo posted to Instagram on Friday.
“#FBF to my Twitter unmasking,” Comey wrote in the caption of the photo, referring to “flashback Friday.”
Comey previously made a reference to Burgundy in a tweet from March 30, in which he included a meme of the character portrayed by Will Ferrell with the caption “Actually, I’m not even mad. That’s amazing.”

The ousted FBI director has become increasingly active on social media in recent days.
Comey tweeted a biblical verse earlier this month when President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia.

Comey, who was fired by Trump in May, testified before a Senate committee earlier this year that Trump had told him to let “go” of the federal probe into Flynn.
