Freddie Mac Exec commits suicide
The acting Chief FInancial Officer of Freedie Mac committed suicide Wednesday morning, according to police.
A Fairfax County Police spokeswoman told WTOP that David Kellerman was found dead inside his home in Hunter Mills Estates
“We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide,” Anne Jennings told WTOP. “We’re not going to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide.”
Kellerman, 41, had worked for Freddie Mac for 16 years. He was named CFO in September 2008.
Freddie Mac CEO David Moffett recently resigned.
