Fire reported at Clinton property
New York police have confirmed that a fire broke out at Hillary and Bill Clinton’s property in Chappaqua, N.Y. on Wednesday afternoon.
New Castle Police and the Chappaqua Fire Department responded to the fire after it was reportedly called in at 2:51 p.m.
The fire was reportedly extinguished at 3:17 p.m.
{mosads}Hillary Clinton’s spokesman Nick Merrill said on Twitter the fire broke out on the property’s Secret Service facility, which is not connected to the Clintons’ house, and that the couple was not home at the time.
This report is wrong, & creating much hysteria.
Yes, a small fire broke out in the @SecretService facility today on Clinton property, in a building not connected to their home. Fire was put out, local FD responded. The Clintons were not home.

The former first family purchased the 5,232-square-foot home for $1.7 million 1999. They went on to buy the property next door in 2016.
