Scaramucci on Priebus: He’s a ‘f—— Sith Lord’

Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci accused former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus of sabotaging his time in President Trump’s White House in a new interview released Thursday.

Scaramucci told Vanity Fair that he was offered the job of director of the Office of Public Liaison shortly before Trump took office. Scaramucci said Priebus, whom he refers to as “Rancid Penis,” was “jealous” of his potential appointment.

“Rancid Penis, you know, he just cannot believe this. He’s just very jealous, can’t believe I’m this close to Trump,” Scaramucci said. “Priebus had the society broken up into ‘Always Trumpers’ and ‘Never Trumpers,’ and he was trying to flood the White House staff, as the chief of staff, with ‘Never Trumpers,’ and trying to figure out ways to blockade, slow down, and keep out, particularly of the White House, the ‘Trumper-Trumpers.’”

{mosads}Scaramucci claims Priebus told him not to take the job in the Office of Public Liaison and instead take a job at the Republican National Committee. After Scaramucci objected, Priebus said he would “do everything I can to help you.”

“That’s what they do to you, they say, ‘golly gee’ to your face and they act like Richie Cunningham to your face,” Scaramucci told Vanity Fair. “They’re Richie Cunningham and they’re Opie from ‘The Andy Griffith Show,’ but they’re the f—— Sith Lord behind your back. They’re hitting you with a lightsaber behind your back.”

Scaramucci also accused Priebus and former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon of leaking unfavorable information about him to the media after he was appointed as White House director of communications last July.

”I go from being told I’m gonna be the comms director to Priebus and Bannon trying to block me throughout the night,” he told Vanity Fair. “Now they’re trying to kill me while I’m in the job. They’re hiring oppo people: have I sexually harassed any women in my office? Please, dear God, hopefully he has. Did he do anything nefarious on Wall Street?”

Scaramucci lasted just 10 days in the White House before being ousted when Trump named then-Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly as his new chief of staff. His firing was due in part to a profanity-laced interview with The New Yorker, in which Scaramucci attacked Bannon.

“I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock,” Scaramucci said. “I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f—— strength of the president. I’m here to serve the country.

The White House cast the move as Scaramucci’s decision at the time. Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement that “he felt it was best to give chief of staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team.”
