Sighting: Larry King Complains About Cold at Ritz

CNN host Larry King checked into The Ritz Carlton hotel at 22nd and M streets on Saturday afternoon.

Bundled in a short leather bomber jacket and black scarf, he complained of the freezing temperatures, saying he was “90 percent” excited to be here and “10 percent” not because of the cold. He said he misses his nine and 11-year old sons, who are home in Beverly Hills playing ball in the 85 degree weather.

King says he always stays at The Ritz, that they keep a suite with his clothes waiting for him so he doesn’t have to bring a thing.

King said he will attend the actual Inauguration outside if the temperature is over 30 degrees. But, he added, “actually you get a better view from television.”
