Rock band Papa Roach mocks Trump with all-caps reference to their hit song ‘Last Resort’

Rock band Papa Roach mocked President Trump’s late night tweet directed at Iran with their own all-caps tweet citing lyrics to their hit song “Last Resort.”

Adopting the same format used by Trump, Papa Roach referenced their song from their first album in 2000, which was about a friend of the band going through a tough time.

The jab comes one day after Trump warned Iran that if it continued threatening the U.S., the country would “SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE,” and saying the United States is “NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH.”

Trump’s warning came after Rouhani had on Sunday warned the U.S. against taking aggressive action that could lead to war with Iran.

“America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” Rouhani told a group of diplomats.

White House national security adviser John Bolton said in a statement Monday that Iran “will pay a price” if anything negative occurs.

“I spoke to the president over the last several days, and President Trump told me that if Iran does anything at all to the negative, they will pay a price like few countries have ever paid before,” Bolton said.
