Protester interrupts Sean Spicer book signing: ‘It’s a garbage book and you’re a garbage human’

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer was interrupted by a protester during a book signing in New York on Wednesday who called him a “garbage person.”

“Hey Sean, you’re a real piece of garbage and I hope you look around and see all these empty seats,” a man shouted inside the Union Square Barnes & Noble bookstore. “And I hope you realize in even in New York City people will not come and pay to hear you speak.”

Video shows the protester being escorted out by security as other members of the crowd boo him.

“It’s a garbage book and you’re a garbage person,” the protester shouts.

“Get the f— out, asshole,” someone else yells at the protester.

The protester continues to heckle Spicer while being forced onto an elevator in the bookstore.

“You lied as press secretary, now you’re lying in your book,” the protester adds as he is being led out.

Spicer was promoting his new book, “The Briefing: Politics, The Press and the President,” which was released on Tuesday.

The former Trump aide details his tenure as press secretary in the memoir, describing Trump as “a unicorn, riding a unicorn over a rainbow.”

Trump told his followers in a tweet last month to buy the book.

“A friend of mine and a man who has truly seen politics and life as few others ever will, Sean Spicer, has written a great new book, ‘The Briefing: Politics, the Press and the President.’ It is a story told with both heart and knowledge. Really good, go get it!” Trump wrote.
