Jimmy Kimmel: ‘There’s clearly something wrong’ with Omarosa
ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel claimed in an interview with The Daily Beast published Wednesday that there is “clearly something wrong” with former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman.
Kimmel described a time in 2004 when Manigault Newman was scheduled to appear on his late-night show. By Kimmel’s account, Manigault Newman arrived for the appearance but “stormed out” because she saw a setup for a lie detector test and thought she would be given one.
Kimmel told The Daily Beast that the lie detector test was meant for his uncle, not Manigault Newman.

“She was very angry,” he said. “And I remember thinking it’s better this way. I didn’t want to have her on the show. The woman — there’s clearly something wrong with her. And the fact that Donald Trump hired her is really all you need to know about that guy and his organization.”
Kimmel is a frequent critic of President Trump, both on his show and on Twitter.
Manigault Newman has also become a Trump critic since leaving the White House. The former staffer had a busy month, as last week she published her new memoir, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.” Before the book hit shelves, she went on a media tour to promote it, during which she made a number of explosive claims about the Trump administration and shared multiple tapes on which she secretly recorded Trump and members of his staff.
Manigault Newman has continued her media appearances since her book was published, most recently sharing a video tapeon MSNBC’s “Hardball” showing former Trump attorney Michael Cohen boarding a Trump plane during the 2016 campaign.
