Jennifer Hudson to Sing National Anthem for Obama

Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson will sing the national anthem on Thursday at Invesco Field before Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination.

“Access Hollywood” reports the former “American Idol” contestant agreed to sing at the request of the Obama campaign.

Hudson is best know for her role as Effie White in the 2006 film “Dreamgirls.”
