Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon says he will get “crushed” in a new film about him, one in which he also takes credit for President Trump’s election.
“I’m gonna get so crushed in this film,” Bannon says in a trailer of the film released Monday. He also says that had he “not come on as CEO of the campaign, Trump would not have won.”
{mosads}Bannon allowed producers working on “The Brink” to have behind-the-scenes access to him for almost a year after he left the White House in mid-2017, and he says in the trailer that the film depicts a “damaging portrait” of him.
The filmmakers followed Bannon in the months after his White House departure, when he looked to build on his far-right message, which he called a “worldwide movement.”
The documentary, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, is set to be released March 29.
The trailer’s release was previously reported by the Washington Examiner.
