Latest developments in Iran: Journos banned, annulment off the table, Obama comments again
First, Iran has banned foreig journalists from reporting on the protets in the country, Xinhua news reports.
Second, and perhaps most interesting, the Guardian Council has now ruled out the prospect of annulling the election. Earlier, a spokesman for the council appeared to leave that door open when discussing a limited recount.
And third, Obama appears to have intensified his language, albeit only slightly, on the election and the protests, saying that the election some in Iran are not comfortable with the country’s “antagonistic postures” toward the international community.
