Cory Booker hints at a proposal with girlfriend Rosario Dawson
White House hopeful Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) hinted at an engagement with actress Rosario Dawson Wednesday in an appearance on actor and famed drag queen RuPaul’s talk show.
When the host told the New Jersey senator he could be the “first unmarried president in a long, long time,” Booker said wedding bells could be in the air for the couple.
“Well first of all, the swearing in isn’t until the 21st of January 2021. You never know what might happen between now and then,” Booker said.{mosads}

The couple has been dating since October, after meeting at a party for former Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous (D), Booker said on the show. Dawson confirmed with smiles from the audience in the couple’s first public appearance, according to People Magazine.
Booker revealed to the audience that he writes love poems for the “Men in Black II” and “Rent” star. He said he manages to find the time between campaigning “when you have someone in your life who inspires you as much as she does.”
Booker opened up about his relationship with Dawson earlier this year in an appearance on “Ellen.”
“She’s a deeply soulful person and has taught me a lot of lessons about love already,” Booker said in March.
