Obama headed back to New Hampshire
President Obama is heading back to New Hampshire, a state he became intimately familiar with during his 2008 campaign.
Obama will host a townhall in Portsmouth next Tuesday, the White House announced today.
The subject of the townhall is still unclear, but it will undoubtedly focus on either healthcare reform or the economy. (Or both.)
Several of Obama’s public events recently have taken place in swing states.
Today, for example, the President delivered a speech on the economy in Wakarusa, Indiana. And last week, he touted the effects of the stimulus package during an appearance in Raleigh, North Carolina. Both Indiana and North Carolina are Republican-leaning states that Obama barely carried in 2008.
