Bidens’ dog Major involved in another biting incident
President Biden’s dog Major has reportedly been involved in another biting incident, according to first lady Jill Biden’s press secretary Michael LaRosa.
The latest incident took place on the White House South Lawn on Monday afternoon and resulted in a National Park Service employee receiving medical treatment. The employee was reportedly working at the time of the incident and had to pause in order to get treatment, according to CNN.
“Yes, Major nipped someone on a walk. Out of an abundance of caution, the individual was seen by [the White House Medical Unit] and then returned to work,” LaRosa told the news outlet.
Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason tweeted a photo of the walk at around 5 p.m. on Monday

Major is the Bidens’ 3-year-old German shepherd and was adopted by the first family back in 2018. He reportedly received training earlier this month following another biting incident.
The president at the time defended Major, calling him a “sweet” animal.
“Major did not bite someone and penetrate the skin,” Biden said in an interview on “Good Morning America.”
“I guess what surprised me is the White House itself, living there. Every door you turn to, there’s a guy there in a black jacket,” Biden continued.
“You turn a corner, and there’s two people you don’t know at all,” he added. “And he moves to protect.”
