Lautenberg expected back for votes Tuesday
Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) is supposed to return to the Senate for votes on Tuesday after he spent a stint in the hospital this week.
Lautenberg, 86, was hospitalized after a fall earlier this month but doctors later found that he has a curable form of stomach cancer. The New Jersey senator was released from the hospital on Thursday.
Caley Gray, spokesman for Lautenberg, in an e-mail said that Lautenberg is expected to return for votes Tuesday.
The Senate is expected to vote on a tax extenders bill on Tuesday that includes the stalled unemployment and COBRA healthcare benefits extension.
