Looks like Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) may have his first challenger. State Sen. Brad Hutto said this week that he is considering running against the first term senator.
“I think it might be time for a change,” Hutto told the Times Democrat.
Hutto is the first to say publicly the he is looking at challenging DeMint, whose seat is considered safe. DeMint will also benefit from having $2 million in his war chest.
