In case you forgot since there has been pretty much no news out of the race in a month, Cook County Commissioner Mike Quigley will likely be elected to Congress on Tuesday.
Quigley is the Democratic nominee in the special election for White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s former House seat. He emerged from a crowded field in the Democratic primary and is favored in the heavily Democratic district.
