The robocall battle in NY-20

Republican Jim Tedisco and Democrat Scott Murphy are are both getting help from big name players in their parties who have cut robocalls to aid their GOTV efforts as tomorrow’s special election closes in.

First, here is former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s pitch for Tedisco: “Jim Tedisco’s victory will ensure that we have a voice in Congress that stands up to [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and all her plans to hike taxes and spending by trillions of dollars,” Giuliani says.

Second, here is Gillibrand on Murphy’s behalf: “In these very tough economic times, we need someone who knows how to create jobs,” Gillibrand says. “Scott Murphy will work with me and President Obama to get our economy moving again.”
