House fundraising roundup
A few of the notable first quarter House fundraising numbers from Wednesday:
-Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-Nev.), who never seems to take a break, turned in an especially big $380,000 and has $1 million on hand.
-Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-Calif.) raised $110,000
-Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) with a big number: $310,000. Her mouth cost her a lot of money last year. Will Democrats try again?
-Not-yet-running former Rep. Virgil Goode (R-Va.): $4,000.
-State Sen. Joe Simitian (D) raising $340,000 in case Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.) receives a cabinet appointment. The two are close and Simitian won
