Bob Schaffer, Margarita Salesman
Former Rep. Bob Schaffer (R-Colo.) has a new gig: selling margaritas.
Schaffer, who lost to then-Rep. Mark Udall (D) in the 2008 race for Colorado’s open Senate seat, has been hawking his wife’s recipe of ready-made margaritas, dubbed Coyote Gold.
The Schaffers started the business three years ago; their margaritas are now starting to hit liquor store shelves.
According to a local newsman, the recipe isn’t bad. See a Colorado TV news report below:
