Cheney: Palin Was Superb

Vice President Dick Cheney had only praise for his potential successor, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R).

“I thought her appearance at (the) convention was superb,” Cheney said in Rome on Monday, reports Agence France-Presse. “I watched that with great interest. I loved some of her lines: ‘What was the difference between ahockey mom and a pit bull? It’s lipstick.'”

Cheney also suggested that an administration led by John McCain and Palin would be “relatively unique” and “won’t look exactly like the Bush administration.”
“Each administration is different,” Cheney said. “There is no reason why Sarah Palin can’t be a successful vice president in a McCain administration.”
