NRCC Builds Team for 2010 Races

The National Republican Congressional Committe (NRCC) will promote National Press Secretary Ken Spain to Communications Director for its 2010 efforts, the NRCC announced in a release Tuesday.

NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) has also promoted Brian Walsh to Political Director, and hired Mike Shields as Director of Special Projects.

“Ken Spain is an excellent addition to the top-notch team that we are building at the NRCC,” Sessions said. “Ken adds a great level of intensity and aggressiveness that will help keep House Republicans on the offensive over the course of the next two years.
