Rep. Moore to Run After All
After several news outlets speculated that five-term Rep. Dennis Moore (R-Kansas) would retire from the House at the end of the 11th Congress, Moore says he does intend to seek reelection in 2010.
“Yes, I am seeking re-election to Congress in 2010,” Moore tells The Hill. “I am honored to be serving the people of the Third District and have every intention of continuing my work in Congress on their behalf.”
Sources close to Moore had reportedly told National Journal’s Hotline On Call last week that Moore would not seek reelection.
