Report: Obama’s Local Ads Helped Seal Win
President-elect Barack Obama may have succeeded in defeating Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) earlier this month in part due to an advantage in local advertising, a new study said Wednesday.
The television research organization Nielsen found that Obama aired 1.5 times as many ads as McCain on the local level, while McCain kept better pace in national advertising.
