Group Plans Picket of LA Times
A right-leaning group called Freedom March is planning a picket outside the Los Angeles Times offices in Los Angeles today at 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern to pressure the Times to release a videotape of Barack Obama attending a party for Palestinian professor Rashid Khalidi in 2003.
The group is recruiting protesters through its website, encouraging supporters to “inspire the LA Times to release the Rahid Khalidi video” by picketing the paper’s downtown Los Angeles office.
It is unclear how many–if any–picketers will turn out for the protest. The group has not yet responded to an inquiry by The Hill.
It is also unclear how many members the group has, and Google searches on the group produce few results, including the group’s own website and several mentions of it on non-major blogs and online forums.
Freedom March’s primary goals, as outlined on its site, are to “defeat Barack Obama and the Radicals” and “identify weak or corrupt politicians and socialists, at all levels in govt, so that Patriots may
