Merkley Widening Lead in Oregon Senate Race

A fresh poll reported Tuesday in the Oregon Senate race shows Democratic challenger Jeff Merkley widening his lead over Republican incumbent Gordon Smith.

The poll of 672 likely voters, conducted by Survey USA over the weekend, shows Merkley at 49 percent to 42 percent for Smith
