Massa Sees Fundraising Bump after Circulating Video of Kuhl’s Accusation
The Democratic opponent of Rep. Randy Kuhl (R-N.Y.) has seen a $30,000 fundraising bump after circulating a video of Kuhl asserting that Democrats want Americans to suffer.
Democrat Eric Massa’s campaign says it raised $40,000 Wednesday, the day after it posted a video of Kuhl’s comment to its website–up from its average of $10,000 to $11,000 per day the week before.
In the video, filmed in August by Rochester’s WHAM-TV, Kuhl accuses Democrats of holding back legislation on domestic issues in the hopes of reaping political gain from Americans’ suffering.
