Obama On House Floor

The Hill’s Jared Allen has this dispatch about Barack Obama’s visit to the House of Representatives Thursday:

Barack Obama strode into the House Chamber just before 11 a.m. Thursday, just as the House was beginning a series of votes on the housing measure.

Obama slipped in the side door along with what appeared to be only his security detail.

“I wanted to see what’s going on over here,” Obama, wearing a broad smile, told reporters. “I hear there’s a lot of action on this side.”

The Illinois Senator did not answer questions about whether he was on the House side to court the remaining uncommitted superdelegates.
