Clinton to Hold Rally for Obama in Little Rock

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) will rally voters for Barack Obama in her old stomping grounds, Little Rock, Ark.

Clinton will headline an Obama event Oct. 10 in the state capital, where her husband was governor for nearly 12 years, reports the Arkansas News Bureau.

Clinton has been stumping for her former primary rival in competitive states, including Michigan, Ohio and Florida. But Obama is far behind John McCain in Arkansas in polls. McCain leads 52.1 percent to 42.5 percent according to Pollster.com’s trend line of Arkansas surveys. Obama hasn’t visited the state since October 2006.
