Va. GOP Files Complaint About DNC Ad

Now Republicans are charging Democrats with illegally collaborating their television attack ads.

The Republican Party of Virginia says that the Democratic National Committee’s “Better Off?” spot about John McCain should be pulled. Party chairman John Hager argued in a statement that the DNC illegally coordinated with the campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton by paying for the ad. Hager equated the ad buy with a campaign contribution greater than $5,000, illegal under election law.
