Biden to Visit Kentucky
Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) is going far afield from the presidential battleground. The Democratic veep nominee is going to the ruby red state of Kentucky.
Biden will visit Louisville for a fundraiser that will cost $1,000 a ticket, reports WKYT in Lexington. Biden will also attend a private dinner that will cost more than $28,000 per couple.
John McCain leads Barack Obama 55 percent to 37 percent according to the latest Pollster.com trend line of Kentucky surveys. Obama lost the state’s Democratic primary to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton 30 percent to 65.5 percent.
Biden, however, may have another reason to visit Louisville; his brother, Frank, lives there.
