Pelosi: If Bush Can Be President, Anyone Can
President George Bush has proven that anyone can be president of the United States, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said today.
“I have a very high standard for president of the United States,” Pelosi told MSNBC’s John Harwood when asked about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R) credentials as a vice presidential candidate.
“I guess George Bush has proven that anybody can do it,” Pelosi said. “But can they do it well? I think he has not.”
