Clinton to Campaign for McConnell’s Opponent

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) will head to Kentucky next week to campaign for Democrat Bruce Lunsford, who is challenging Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for his seat.

Clinton will be Pikeville and Lexington, reports the Louisville Courier-Journal. McConnell is leading Lunsford, a former business executive and gubernatorial candidate, 52 percent to 39 percent in the RealClearPolitics average of polls of the race.
