‘Welcome Home’ Rally Planned for Palin
Republicans in Fairbanks, Alaska, are readying a rally to welcome Gov. Sarah Palin (R) back home Wednesday, reports the Associated Press.
Palin hasn’t been in Alaska since Aug. 29, when John McCain chose her to be the Republican veep nominee. She plans to speak Thursday at a ceremony for the Army brigade of her son, Track, who is headed to Iraq. She will also sit down with ABC News’s Charlie Gibson for her first interview as a national candidate while in Alaska.
