Captain Morgan to Meet with Virgin Islands Gov.

Captain Morgan, who has been campaigning for president in Denver all week inside the security perimeter at the Democratic convention, says he will meet with U.S. Virgin Islands Gov. John P. deJongh (D) today.”He’s on my team,” Morgan told me, flashing a hang-ten sign.Captain Morgan, mascot for the rum brand that shares his name, announced his candidacy earlier this month as an effort to “put the party back in politics.”
