Oprah Headed to Dem Convention
Oprah Winfrey is going to the Democratic convention, but she won’t be speaking or appearing on stage, her spokeswoman told Reuters.
She will be in the audience for Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech on Aug. 28 in Denver, spokeswoman Angela DePaul said.
The talk-show host appeared on behalf of Obama in early primary contests, but she has been absent from the campaign since.
