Tickets to Obama’s Convention Speech Sell Out Within 24 Hours
Tickets to see Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech at Invesco Field in Denver, Colo., sold out within 24 hours, according to Obama’s campaign. The application process closed Thursday and all others were put on a waiting list.
The campaign had set aside most of the more than 60,000 seats available to the public for the final night of the Democratic National Convention. For the tickets that were available for the public, the campaign collected more than 60,000 applications Thursday afternoon alone.
