Gallup Tracking: Obama Pulls Slightly Ahead
Though one tracking poll shows that Barack Obama and John McCain are tied, Gallup’s daily survey has the Democrat pulling slightly ahead.
Gallup’s Monday poll has Obama up 46 percent to 43 percent. The two candidates were tied on Friday and Saturday at 44 percent. McCain has not led in the Gallup poll since Obama clinched the Democratic nomination in June, but the two have been tied on five different days.
The margin of error in the poll is two percentage points.
