Spot Removed from McCain’s Face

John McCain, who has previously been treated for skin cancer, had a spot removed from his face Monday during a checkup by his doctor in Phoenix.

“At this point it was just a precautionary removal,” a campaign spokesman told reporters on McCain’s plane.
