Obama Won’t Sponsor NASCAR Car
Contrary to an earlier report, Barack Obama won’t have his logo featured on a NASCAR stock car this summer.
“The Obama campaign will not be sponsoring a car in the Sprint Cup Series, though we will continue to look for ways to reach out to voters and convey Senator Obama’s message of change,” Obama spokesman Bill Burton told the Associated Press.
The AP also reported that BAM Racing Team had offered an advertising deal to the campaigns of Obama, John McCain and a third-party candidate.
