McCain: This Is a Big Deal, Obama Completely Reversed Himself
John McCain says Barack Obama opting out of public financing is a “big deal.”
“He said he would stick to his agreement. He didn’t,” McCain said at a rally in Columbus Junction, Iowa.
“This is a big deal, a big deal. He has completely reversed himself and gone back, not on his word to me, but the commitment he made to the American people.”
McCain said that Obama not keeping his promise “should be disturbing to all Americans.”
Obama announced Thursday morning that he would forgo public financing calling the system “broken.”
