Giuliani Turns to Clinton for Inspiration for Latest Attack on Obama
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) is using Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) to ding Barack Obama.
“I think she used the words ‘naive’ and ‘irresponsible’ in describing the way in which [Obama] would react to terrorism,” Giuliani said on MSNBC Wednesday. Giuliani and other McCain surrogates have been criticizing Obama’s support for a Supreme Court decision allowing terror detainees to challenge their status in civilian courts.
Asked whether he would call Obama “naive,” Giuliani said, “The way I would put it is that it’s an attitude that demonstrates his inexperience, which is quite obvious.”
“I don’t think he has any experience in foreign policy, in military affairs, in dealing with terrorism, he said. “Nothing in his background has ever suggested that he really can understand the full scope of terrorism.”
