Quinnipiac: Obama Leads in Big 3 Swing States
Barack Obama is leading John McCain in the biggest three swing states, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to new Quinnipiac polls.
In Florida, Obama leads 47 percent to 43 percent. In Ohio, Obama is ahead 48 percent to 42 percent. And in Pennsylvania, he leads 52 percent to 40 percent.
The margin of error is about 2.5 percentage points.
Obama is benefiting from the exit of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), as he leads McCain by at least 10 points in each of the states, says Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
