Meghan McCain Pens Children’s Book
Meghan McCain is writing a children’s book detailing the life story of her father John McCain titled, “My Dad, John McCain” due out September 2.
The Caucus reports that the book “deals more delicately” with “less kid-friendly” aspects of the Arizona senator’s life, including his time as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam. The book does not delve into McCain’s first marriage or some of more controversial subjects in his past.
Similar books about Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.) are set to be released in September as well.
Meghan McCain also writes a blog for the McCain campaign.
