Obama Launches Website to Fight Internet Rumors

The Barack Obama campaign is pledging to play offense against any internet rumor campaigns, setting up a rumor fighting website that will act as a hub for responses to any smear campaigns.

Current rumors that the site is pushing back against are:

  • The existence of a tape show Michelle Obama saying ‘whitey’ to describe white people

  • Obama is a Muslim

  • Obama’s book contains racially incendiary rhetoric

  • Obama won’t say the pledge of allegiance

Each of the rumors has a responding link refuting the claim.
