Reid Meets with Obama Veep Team
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) met privately Monday with two of the three-member group Barack Obama his selected to vet vice presidential candidates.
Reid met for 35 minutes with former Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder and former Fannie Mae chief executive officer Jim Johnson, Reid’s office said.
The meeting did not include Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of President John F. Kennedy, who is also on Obama’s team.
Holder and Johnson left the meeting through a side door to avoid reporters.
