Obama Kicks off General Election with Webb
Barack Obama is launching his general election bid today in Bristow, Virginia and one his top rumored Veep picks will be with him.
Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) will appear with Obama at a rally tonight along with Virginia Governor Tim Kaine.
Webb’s is one of the hottest name in Veep speculation, though the freshman Senator has repeatedly denied that he and Obama have spoken about putting his name on the ticket.
Before the rally, Obama will hold a town hall with former Governor Mark Warner, who is running to replace retiring Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) and has also come up in Veepstakes talk, as well as Rep. Rick Boucher (D-Va.).
