As Polls Close 26.5 Supers Endorse Obama
After a day long trickle of superdelegate endorsements were announced by the Barack Obama campaign Tuesday, the wave finally came.
26.5 superdelegates endorsed Obama as polls closed in the final primary in Montanta.
Among those endorsing were Democratic Reps. Gabrielle Giffords (Ariz.), Sam Farr (Calif.), Bob Filner (Calif.), Jerry McNerney (Calif.), Ron Klein (Fla.), John Sarbanes (Md.), Bart Stupak (Mich.) and Rush Holt (N.J.).
The Briefing Room had already reported Farr’s endorsement.
